Editing Passage:
The Great Wall of China is one of the most impressive man-made structures in the world. It was build more than 2,000 years ago, during the rule of Emperor Qin Shi Huang. The wall is not a continuous line; rather it consists of many walls and fortification built by various Chinese emperors to protect the country from invaders.
The Wall stretch over approximately 13,000 miles and cross various terrains, including mountains, deserts, and grasslands. It was original used as a defense mechanism, but now it attracts millions of tourists from all over the globe every year.
The Great Wall symbolize the strength and determination of the Chinese people. Efforts has been made to preserve parts of the Wall that have been damaged by time and weather.
